Arsenal draw the 2nd leg of the Champions League game against Bayern Munich, but are unable to do enough to pull them back in to the competition.
With an 11 man strong team throughout the game, Arsenal proved they could hold their own against Bayern Munich, but needless to say, the 1st leg 2 – 0 victory ultimately secured the German teams’ ticket to the next round and saw The Gunners eliminated.
The Ox had shown strength, character, skill and unparalleled determination to win the ball and get as far afield (both forward and back) as possible. He definitely clocked up a few good miles during the game. He installed fear in Bayern Munich’s defense on a couple of occasions, forcing them to commit fouls simply because they couldn’t handle his intense speed and control on the ball. It was indeed, as many of you would agree, a joy to watch.
Arsenal can now look forward to conquering London as they head over to Spurs on Sunday, and then to Chelsea the following week.
