Oxlade-Chamberlain scores a belter as England go clear with a 8-0 away win over San Marino.
Both teams last met in October 2012, where The Ox scored his debut goal for The Three Lions. This time around they showed no mercy as they matched the total number of goals scored in the previous meeting, in just the first half. The first 45mins saw a barrage of goals from the England squad with Defoe, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Young and Lampard all hitting the back of the net. San Marino conceded an own goal. The second half saw Rooney and Sturridge get their names on the score sheet with a second goal for Defoe.
A win was to be expected tonight, but when better to start a fresh run of wins ahead of their next campaign for the World Cup?
